This week’s video tour takes place in the Belle Chasse neighborhood of Pleasant Ridge Estates.
Located in the upper part of Belle Chasse, Pleasant Ridge is just off of Woodland Highway and boasts some of the finest homes in the area. Gated and secure, the community has very little turnover…a testament to how much the home owners love living there. Join us on a drive through this lovely neighborhood.

Great Place Lisa, Good luck, hope all goes your way. Thanks for sharig..
Great idea to give out of town buyers an idea of what the neighborhood is like. I may try this myself. Did you use a FLIP? What video-tour software or company did you use to make the video... nice soft music in the background.
Lisa, as always, well done! Hope you are doing well. If you ever get to Lake Charles, give me a call.
Lisa....what a beautiful area! I had a high school friend that use to live in Belle Chasse, altho I don't think it was THIS neighborhood. I remember him telling me of the mess they returned to after the hurricane....
It looks like this neighborhood has returned to normal....
Great video and great way to show your neighborhoods....(note to self!)
Sharon, yes, I did it with a FLIP and just used the built in "make a movie" software that includes the music. There are a VERY limited number of selections for music, but it's enough to give a feel for a neighborhood, which is all I wanted to do. You also have the option to have no music (in case you want to narrate the tour, which I've done for buyers in a specific property), have the music play at a softer level than the narration or (like I've done here) have the music replace any narration or background noise.
Mary Kay, I'm working on some more of these now, so thanks for the encouragement. I appreciate it!
Thom, this neighborhood is about 15 years old, but some of the homes are much newer than that and there are still some lots available to build on. No flooding, so it wasn't hard to get back to normal here. I would love to see some video of your area too.
