Gee, Lisa, do you think you can find something to do?  With all these wonderful events I wouldn't know what to choose first.  But I love the airshows and go every year to the ones here and a concert sounds fun....It's going to be a difficult decision; I hope you'll come back and share one if  you get to go!

Good morning, Carole.  I want to hit at least two of them.  The weather is beautiful right now (low 70s and sunny) and everyone wants to be outside!

Lisa, great area information for your readers so they know what and where everything fun is happening in October. Personally, I would love to attend the St. Anthony's Oktoberfest, the food sounds GREAT!

LISA:  It's funny that we have this perception of what certain places are like, New Orleans clearly being one of them, and then you read a localism post about the area, and you start to see some things that go beyond that perception.  You're localism posts make me see New Orleans in a whole new light.  Thanks for sharing this.

Adam, THANK YOU for that comment.  Everyone has this perception of NOLA as just a party town and we are so much more than Bourbon Street!  I'm glad that you are not only reading but seeing that we are as family oriented as any other city across the country - thanks again.
