Lisa, awesome information - and what are those flowers! I love purple flowers - in Alaska there are purple "forget-me-nots" everywhere (state flower) These are very amazing!

Hi Jo!  The top and bottom photos are agapanthus (aka Lily of the Nile) and I took pictures of the ones in my garden as they were budding and blooming.  I have no idea what the middle one is :)
